Editorial Policy

Purpose

Chile Vacay exists to help readers plan travel in Chile. Every public article should answer a real travel-planning question, add practical context, and avoid publishing overlapping pages just to target similar search phrases.

Content standards

  • Articles should include useful logistics such as timing, access, costs where reliable, safety considerations, route tradeoffs, seasonal notes, or official source links.
  • Duplicate list posts are consolidated or drafted instead of kept public as separate low-value pages.
  • Unsupported first-person claims are removed unless the article can substantiate actual direct experience.
  • Affiliate links are disclosed and should not overwhelm informational content.
  • Health, safety, altitude, transport, and entry-rule content should be treated cautiously and checked against current official sources.

Sources and photos

Chile Vacay uses a mix of original editorial writing, public official sources, credited third-party references, and licensed or properly attributed imagery. Images are selected to support the destination or topic rather than to imitate first-hand proof where no first-hand reporting has occurred.

Corrections

Send correction requests to [email protected] and include the article URL, the claim in question, and a source when possible. We review correction requests and update articles when the evidence supports a change.
